STUDIO POLICIES
Welcome to Angel Music Studios! These policies help ensure a positive and productive learning experience for every student.
Lessons
The studio year is divided into two terms: September–December and January–June. Summer lessons are available upon request. Students may register for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly lessons. Lessons are offered in 30-, 45-, and 60-minute formats. Individual or group lessons of 1.5 or 2 hours can also be arranged.
Tuition
Tuition is billed by term to reserve each student's lesson time. Monthly e-transfers are preferred. Current lesson fees are available upon registration and are reviewed annually. Payments received after the 10th of the month are subject to a $5 late fee.
Missed Lessons
Please provide 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice will be charged and cannot normally be rescheduled. A cancelled lesson may be rescheduled once, subject to availability. If a student is unable to attend in person due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, an online lesson may be offered when appropriate. Lessons cancelled by the teacher will always be rescheduled or credited.
Withdrawal
Please provide one month's notice in writing if you wish to discontinue lessons. Tuition for the notice period remains payable.
Performances
Students are invited to participate in studio recitals and other optional performance opportunities offered throughout the year.
Privacy
Written permission via the media release form will always be obtained before photographs or videos of students are used on the Angel Music Studios website or social media.
